AN IPSWICH businessman who allegedly ripped off dozens of customers and tradespeople was not at court when his case was mentioned before a Brisbane magistrate.
Shed company owner Paul Jason William DeBruin has been charged with a string of 26 fraud-related offences including forgery and false declarations.
His case was mentioned before Brisbane Magistrates Court and was discussed for less than a minute.
Mr DeBruin's case was been adjourned for a fortnight so his lawyer could seek "further instructions".
It is believed his charges relate to the operations of two of his previous businesses, Sunrise Erections and Queensland Steel Constructions.
Mr DeBruin's case will be heard before Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 11.
