A cyclist has been hit by a vehicle in Andergrove this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Oak St just before 4pm, after reports that a man had been struck by a vehicle.

The cyclist, a 30-year-old man, was taken to the Mackay Base Hospital with a leg injury.

A spokesperson from the Queensland Ambulance Service said the driver suffered no injuries.
