One person in hospital following Bundamba house fire

UPDATE 2.30PM: A MAN has been taken to Ipswich Hospital with minor injuries following a house fire at Bundamba this afternoon.

Firefighters were called to a house on Bryant St about 1.30pm.

The fire was out a short time later, with all occupants accounted for.

Police say the fire has damaged one room in the house.

An ambulance spokeswoman says the injured man, 52, is in a stable condition with soot around his face.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are underway.


EARLIER: FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a house on fire at Bryant St, Bundamba.

The fire was first reported about 1.30pm.

Initial reports suggest that all occupants of the house have been accounted for.
