Drug kidnapping case lands three in jail

THREE people who kidnapped a Mackay woman over a methylamphetamine drug debt have been jailed.

Judge Brian Harrison was scathing about their "disgraceful, gangster-style and humiliating" attack in which the woman was tied and thrown into the boot of a car.

He said Matthew James Lester, 37, was the "dominant force who led the attack".Lester, who was jailed for 6½ years, will be eligible for parole after 26 months.

Judge Harrison told Tracey Hart, 32, she had "a real attitude problem". Hart, sentenced to five years, will be eligible for parole on September 16, 2016.

Kylie Ann Graham, 31, was jailed for four years, to be suspended after serving 10 months.

For her role, Laana Shanae Hall, 23 was jailed earlier this month for three years. She will be eligible for parole after six months.
