Man hurt as caravan overturns on highway

A MAN and woman were being assessed by paramedics after a car towing a caravan rolled on the Bruce Highway in central Queensland this morning.

Police said the incident occurred just before 12pm at Mount Larcom, about 10km north of Gladstone.

Paramedics said a man in his 70s suffered minor injuries and a woman, also in her 70s, had no reported injuries.

There were no road closures, but motorists were advised to avoid the area if they could.
