Toowoomba couple arrested for credit card fraud

POLICE have arrested a 19-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman following investigations into the fraudulent use of credit cards in Toowoomba.

It will be alleged credit cards were fraudulently used at a number of North Toowoomba businesses on Ruthven St between July 1 and July 3.

The 19-year-old man has been charged with one count each of stealing and fraud and a 25-year-old woman has been charged with one count each of stealing and fraud.

They will appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on August 18.
